However, Baidu's products have always made people feel uneasy. "It is better to take the initiative than to sit back and wait for death." It is more reliable to build your own network disk early.
If a friend wants to build his own network disk, it is recommended to use Nextcloud shared before. Although Pydio is also a free network disk storage program, Pydio is divided into paid and free versions. There is definitely no problem in using Pydio for file storage and sharing by individuals. If a company or organization collaborates, then the powerful Nextcloud is also most suitable. .

1.1 Installation preparation

Install LNMP or LAMP environment . If it is a VPS, you need to configure the PHP and MysqL environments yourself. The easiest way is to use the VPS control panel: server control panel list. You can also use LNMP or LAMP to install it with one click, such as Oneinstack.
Many Pydio plug-ins, such as PDF Viewer, Exif extractor, Git, Office Docs, Email Viewer, etc., require the host to install corresponding dependencies. If you find that some functions of Pydio cannot be used, please install and configure these components manually.

3.2 PC client
Download and install the Pydio computer client, first set your synchronization address.
The next step is to select the local synchronization folder.

Pydio should be quite good as a personal network disk. The network disk program is easy to install and has very good functions such as uploading and sharing. It can also play video, music and other files directly online, making it suitable for individuals to use as their own personal network disk.
The shortcomings of Pydio are also obvious. There is no independent user registration function, and the mobile APP requires payment. This is much worse than Nextcloud, so if it is used by multiple people, it is recommended to use the Nextcloud network disk program.
